Lisa Gates over at Intrisic Life Design has come up with an excellent post on going inward. Check it out. In fact, her entire I’m Calling You Out series has great advice on how to put some real meaning in your day.
So when was the last time you looked at your work process or your job-searching process and tried to see where you could be more effective or more productive? That goes for those of you who are overworked – when was the last time you prioritized your workload and assessed it for areas where you might be spinning your wheels? And if you’re a fretter like me, when was the last time you wrote down your laundry list of projects and really looked at it to see if you’re fretting needlessly or if you’re really over your head?
Thanks, Lisa, for yet another great post.
Hi Lori!
Thanks for visiting my blog 🙂
Colin
Hey… is this a hint to my last blog post? LOL – If so I’ll take it. I think I gave myself a headache over it all. I actually turned down work (that could be regular) this week because of everything going on. There were other factors (like the fact that the pay was rather low and I have a project right now making much more for a smaller article request).
But I agree, I do need organization, or a schedule for all of this. If you have any ideas on how to make one and have it work around a toddler during the day, I am all ears! I saw all the work you have going on AND that you were looking for more. Something I should be doing as well but right now I can’t even imagine adding more.
Lori, thanks so much for calling your readers’ attention to this series. We lost a little oomph with Labor Day, but people are enjoying it.
Hope to see you there next week — and Nikki too 🙂

This is a great reminder! I do try hard to work smart and to be efficient, but I need to constantly be looking for ways that I can improve.
